Yandex says Jan–Jun search of upper-end, mid-price clothes rises

MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- The share of search requests for clothes and footwear of the premium and mid-price segment in Russia widened by 10 percentage points on the year to 55% in January–June, Anastasia Lipatova, industrial leader in the fashion category of Yandex, told PRIME on Thursday.

“In January–June 2023, 55% of all brand requests in the clothes category mentioned the brands of the premium and mid-price segments,” Lipatova said.

She added that the brand matters when choosing footwear, jeans, sportswear and outdoor clothing.

An online poll conducted by Yandex in June among 1,000 users showed that online more often becomes a key channel of choice of clothes and footwear in the country.
